Testimonial: Ursula Widmer, Ripon, CA

I recently worked with K-Designers to replace all the windows in my home. Previously I had single pane and storm windows. It was very time consuming to open the windows to clean them. I had to completely lift them out. They also made my house look very dated.

Now that I have my new double paned windows from K-Designers I am much happier. The windows make my house look richer. The neighbors really like them, they say it makes my house look different and much more appealing. The have also added value to my home.

In addition to looking great, they also provide great insulation. Not only do they keep out the outside noise they also block the heat of the sun.

Over all I am very satisfied with my new windows and the service I got from K-Designers.

 Sincerely,
Ursula Widmer

Testimonial: Marie and Larry Swank, Pacific Grove, CA

We recently had eight of your windows installed to replace our old single-paned aluminum windows. They complement the outside appearance of our ranch-style home in Pacific Grove, and along with other recent upgrades we’ve made (new roof and deck) we’re sure they’ve added value to our property as well. And immediate benefit we realized was a definite decrease in the noise level coming from the nearby street. Several neighbors have also told us that they like our house’s new look.

We were also impressed by the professionalism and friendliness of the two installers. All the windows were replaced the first day. On the second day, they returned to insulate, caulk, trim, and clean the windows. Extra care was given to installing the garden window in our kitchen, as it required new framing, painting etc. All our questions were answered, old windows and screens were taken away and all debris was cleaned up before they left.

We decided on K-Designers not only for the quality product(s) they offered and their competitive price(s), but also because they were less aggressive in their sales approach. We’re quite pleased with the results and would gladly recommend the to others.

Are you ready for Fall?

Now that the leaves are changing color and starting to sprinkle your lawn you might be thinking about those gutters you’ve been meaning to clean out. Aren’t you tired of cleaning out your gutters every year? Maybe you should consider a leaf guard system for you home.

Clogged gutters aren’t just a hassle they can cost you money. Clogged drains allow water to overflow which can lead to:

Foundation Damage
Gutters are meant to channel water off the roof and away from your home’s foundation. A clogged cutter can cause the water to spill over and pool eventually leading to a damaged foundation.

Wood Damage
Gutters are attached to your fascia boards. Overflowing gutters can cause excessive water contact leading to rotting of the fascia over time. Overflowing gutters can spill down at unexpected locations and directions. Any wood surface exposed to this excessive stream of water, like wood siding, will experience accelerated deterioration.

Landscape Damage
Water overflowing from a clogged gutter can cause damage to any landscaping near your home. A continuous stream of water can flood or erode planting beds washing away your greenery or landscaping materials.

So maybe this year is the year you forget about your gutters. If you have any questions about gutters or gutter leaf guards don’t hesitate to give K-Designers a call 800-728-3902 or visit us online at www.k-designers.com.
